Arrive in Prague and transfer to your hotel. The balance of the day is free time to start exploring this beautiful city. Meet your fellow guests at welcome gathering in the early evening. Further details will be provided with your final documents

Day 2 – August 11, 2018
Prague, Czech Republic

This morning’s sightseeing reveals why Prague is considered one of Europe’s most attractive cities. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the Church of Tyn, see the famous Astronomical Clock and walk over the spectacular Charles Bridge. Mix with the locals at Wenceslaus Square, shop for souvenirs or enjoy one of the charming cafés or restaurants. Wander along the banks of the Vltava River, relax at an outdoor restaurant, or shop for local handicrafts and art work.

Day 3 – August 12, 2018
Prague/Nuremberg, Germany

After breakfast, drive from Prague through the pastoral countryside to Nuremberg, the capital of Franconia. Tonight gather on board for a Gala Welcome Dinner.

Day 4 – August 13, 2018
Regensburg, Germany

This morning’s scenic cruising takes you through the final stretch of the Main-Danube Canal to arrive in magnificent Regensburg, one of Germany’s best preserved medieval cities. The city’s architectural highlights include the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria – gates to an ancient Roman fort which was built in 179 AD. Marvel at beautiful churches and one of the oldest bridges crossing the Danube.

Day 5 – August 14, 2018
Passau/Linz, Austria

Early this morning the ship takes you through scenic valleys and past charming riverside towns. After breakfast, stroll through fairy-tale city founded more than 2,000 years ago. Or, take an optional full-day tour to Salzburg and its most popular “Sound of Music” sights including the Wedding Church, exquisite Mirabell Gardens, the Great Salzburg Festival Hall and much more. For those staying on board, enjoy a scenic cruise from Passau to Linz. Take a walk through this delightful town, Austria’s third largest city.

Day 6 – August 15, 2018
Melk/Weissenkirchen/Vienna, Austria

Cruise through the narrow Strudengau and reach the Wachau Valley early this morning. We arrive in Melk home of the magnificent Benedictine Abbey, one of Europe’s largest baroque monasteries. Return to the ship for lunch as you cruise the romantic Wachau Valley. This evening arrive in Vienna, the “City of Music” and Austria’s magnificent capital.

Day 7 – August 16, 2018
Vienna, Austria

Today explore the vibrant Austrian capital on your own or savor the Baroque elegance of romantic Vienna on the optional guided city tour which includes the world famous Vienna Opera House, Ringstrasse, St. Stephen’s Cathedral and more. The tour is followed by free time in the city center to stroll the city at your own pace.

Day 8 – August 17, 2018
Bratislava, Slovakia – Budapest, Hungary

Bratislava, known as Pressburg until 1945, is the capital of Slovakia and one of the most famous cities on the Danube. A walking tour takes you past the Archiepiscopal Palace and the National Theatre to the 13th century Bratislava Castle which has a view as far as the border of Austria. Other attractions include the city gates, the Baroque palaces of the noblemen, and the elegant residences that have all survived from the days of the Danube monarchy. A walk through the pedestrian precinct, past St. Martin’s Cathedral, the Town Hall and Michael’s Gate, brings you back to the ship.

Day 9 – August 18, 2018
Budapest, Hungary

This morning, a sightseeing tour takes you to historic Buda Castle, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the twin cities of Buda and Pest. Your tour also features the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Royal Palace, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Heroes’ Square and more. After dinner, the ship will sail a special evening cruise past the city’s beautiful riverfront.

Day 10 – August 19, 2018
Budapest, Hungary

Departure day. Budapest is an amazing city with new adventures around every corner. Spend an additional day or two and experience one of the many spas that the city has been famous for since Roman times. (Additional post hotel nights available.)

Salzburg, the Sound of Music – $99 per person
Scenic drive from Passau to Salzburg via the lake district to see the sights of the Sound of Music: Mondsee wedding church; lake district Salzkammergut, St.Gilgen, Lake Wolfgang; Hellbrunn Gazebo ; Leopoldskron Castle; Nonnberg Abbey; and Mirabell Gardens. Enjoy a guided city tour of Salzburg before departing back to the ship.
Detailed highlights:

Mirabell Gardens
The Mirabell gardens were laid out in the 18th century. Maria and the children were seen dancing around the statue of Pegasus, the winged horse, and throughout the gardens singing “Do-re-mi”.

Leopoldskron Castle
The front side of the castle was used as the Trapp family home, the children were boating on the lake and fell into the water. The Venetian room was copied from this castle and used as the ballroom.

Hellbrunn Castle
This hunting castle was built in the early 17th century by Prince- Archbishop Markus Sittikus. In the gardens the glass pavillon was reconstructed for the pleasure of those fans still returning after more than 35 years.

Nonnberg Abbey
Nonnberg Abbey is the oldest convent in the German speaking part of Europe. Maria was a novice there. The Baron and Maria were married here in 1927. The scenes for the movie made here include the opening with the nuns going to Mass and Maria coming too late.

St. Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang
Scenery shown at the beginning of the movie was filmed at Lake Fuschl on the way to St. Gilgen. Like the Mozart family, visitors from all over the world appreciate the beautiful village in the the Salzkammergut. – Wedding church Mondsee the former Benedictine abbey dating back to the 12th century is one of biggest gothic churches in Austria with wonderful baroque interior.

Bicycle Tour – $75 per person
Melk to Durnsein

Enjoy a scenic bike tour from Melk to Durstein on August 15, 2018. The ride is approximately 17.5 miles and it follows the river bank of the Danube. The route is generally flat and is surrounded by dramatic mountainous scenery. The ride will be leisurely with plenty of time to stop to enjoy a snack or grab a drink at one of the small villages along the way. Schedule permitting, the bike tour will finish with a walking tour of Durnstein.

We will do everything within our power to make your river cruise experience the best ever! So, relax and absorb the ambiance of the magical settings and fascinating places you will visit.

To help prepare you for your vacation, we have compiled some important tips. We encourage you to read this information carefully and to bring it with you as a reference during your travels. While traveling, please keep in mind that patience, understanding and the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment will enhance your vacation experience. Despite careful planning, unavoidable circumstances may require last minute changes to your itinerary. However, we have discovered that these deviations often reveal unexpected discoveries.

Traveling reveals new and exciting lifestyles, cuisines and traditions that may be different from what you are used to. Respecting these differences will create an infinitely more pleasant and rewarding experience. We wish you an exciting and memorable vacation.
Passports & Visas
A valid passport is required for all Brand g charters; your passport must be valid for at least six months after your return. It is your responsibility to ensure your passport is valid and secure all required visas. Consult with the appropriate consulates to determine if any visas are needed. Vacations can be disrupted, or altered if the correct documents cannot be supplied at airports or border crossings; please check your itinerary carefully. In the event that you lose your passport while traveling, we recommend you photocopy the first pages of your passport, airline tickets, driver’s license and/or birth certificate to simplify and expedite the process of replacing lost documents. Keep the originals separate from the copies. This will make replacement easier if you lose them en route. It is also useful to carry spare passport photos. You may wish to scan your passport, airline tickets and credit card numbers and email them to yourself as attachments, so you may download copies to assist in obtaining replacements.
What To Wear
Comfortable clothes and good walking shoes while on land. And, since there are spa facilities, a putting green, shuffleboard and fitness room on the ship, we suggest workout clothes. Jackets and ties are not required. We recommend country club casual for dinner.
Special Diets
Please advise Brand g Vacations prior to departure if you have any special dietary requirements. We will make every effort possible to always accommodate your requests, however, please note that local conditions and seasonality can restrict our ability on occasions.
Settling Your Bill Onboard
The day before your cruise ends you will be given an invoice for any onboard charges you may have made. Please check the invoice to make sure all items are accounted for before payment/closing of the account. All onboard charges will be in Euros. Payment is accepted in cash (Euros) or by credit card. Your bank/credit card company will convert this into $US dollars at their own exchange rate. Some bank/credit cards may charge a separate fee, as well.
ATMs
ATM machines are widely available throughout Europe and readily accessible during shore excursions; the ship does not have an ATM machine onboard. Prior to traveling, we recommend that you notify your bank of your travel plans so they can inform you of any applicable transaction fees and provide any information on restrictions, etc.
Currency
For Austria and Germany the currency is the Euro, Czech Republic uses Crowns, and the Hungarian Forint for Hungary.

Information contained in this brochure does not form part of any offer or contract. The transportation of guests and baggage on Amadeus vessels is provided solely by Amadeus and is governed by the terms and conditions printed on the Passage Contract. The Passage Contract will be included with your travel documents and contains complete and important information regarding cancellations, itineraries, Amadeus’ liability, health and immigration requirements, and other relevant terms and conditions. The terms and conditions of the Passage Contract will apply to persons who have booked a cruise regardless of whether or not they have embarked the vessel. Please read your Passage Contract carefully. To the extent that any of the information in the brochure conflicts with the terms of the Passage Contract, the terms and conditions contained in the Passage Contract shall control.

Itinerary arrival and departure times are always subject to change without notice. Amadeus reserves the right to cancel, alter, advance, postpone or substitute any scheduled sailing or itinerary, substitute another vessel for the scheduled ship, or substitute or cancel scheduled ports of call, which, in its sole judgment and discretion, is justified for any reason, and to do so without liability for any loss whatsoever to guests as a result of said change(s). Additionally,

Amadeus reserves the right to cancel reservations and bookings in the event of a full-ship charter, whether or not a deposit or full payment has been received, and in such event, Amadeus’ only liability will be to refund to the guest the amount it has received.
Amadeus makes arrangements for transportation, other than cruise passage, only as a booking agent. Amadeus’ responsibility does not extend beyond the vessel. In arranging for the transportation of guests to and from the ship, Amadeus does so with independent contractors. Amadeus is not responsible for incidents such as airline cancellations, re-routings or any disruption of scheduled services or accommodation, or lost luggage.

All schedules, fares, and terms and conditions listed in this brochure are effective as of June 2014 and supersede any schedules, prices, and terms and conditions previously published.
All fares including land and hotel, are capacity controlled, subject to change at anytime without notice and do not guarantee availability. All are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice.

Travel documents will not be dispatched until full and final payment and passenger Contact Information has been received by Amadeus and cleared. For purposes of this Agreement, Contact Information shall mean a passenger’s full name, passport number, address, telephone number (land and mobile), electronic mail address and emergency contact information and any other information as requested by Amadeus. Amadeus must be able to reach each passenger’s emergency contact at any time of day. Amadeus must, therefore, be provided with all information to allow Amadeus to do so (such information should include the name, address, electronic mail address (if available) and phone number (including a cell phone number if available) of a parent, guardian, spouse, domestic partner, or other person to contact in the event of an emergency. No passenger will be allowed to embark a Amadeus vessel unless Amadeus has received all information.

Cruise Tariff
2017 cruise fares cover certain land and shipboard services including: accommodations, shore excursions, onboard meals, beer, wine, select spirits, and entertainment aboard ship. All fares are quoted in US dollars, are per guest and based on double occupancy. Not included in your program tariff are: Champagne, and top shelf spirits, optional shore excursions, meals taken ashore during the cruise, imported mineral waters, fuel surcharges, laundry, purchases from the ship boutique or any item or service of a personal nature such as medical care, massages and spa treatments.

Travel Professionals
Travel agents are considered to be the agent of Passenger and not of Carrier. Carrier is not liable for any representation, act or omission of Passenger’s travel agent. Passenger’s cruise fare is not considered paid until Carrier receives full payment, and the amount thereof is subject to change at any time prior to Carrier’s receipt of payment. Passenger shall at all times remain liable to Carrier for the price of passage. Carrier reserves the right to refuse embarkation if all charges and surcharges have not been paid in advance of departure.

Deposit/Final Payment
To reserve your cruise, a $750 per person deposit is required at the time of booking. Brand g Vacations is operating this program in cooperation with Amadeus and payments will appear on your credit card statement as being processed by Amadeus. Full payment is due no later than 120 days prior to departure. Guests will not be permitted to change travel agents once final payment has been received by Amadeus. Final documentation will be issued after receipt of final payment and approximately 30 days prior to sailing. All reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date, and are guaranteed only when paid in full 120 days prior to sailing. Reservations made within 120 days of sailing require full payment within seven days of booking or sooner, as specified by Amadeus. Payments may be made by personal check (USD funds), or by AMEX/VISA®/ MasterCard® or DISCOVER®.

Cancellations/Refunds
Should you find it necessary to cancel your reservation or any component thereof, you and your travel professional are required to contact your Travel Professional or Brand g Vacations directly by telephone as well as submit your cancellation in writing. Refunds are subject to the schedule below regardless of suite/cabin resale and cancellation charges may not be converted to future cruise credits:

Cruise tickets must be returned to Amadeus before refunds (if owed) can be processed.

Health and Medical Requirements
All guests are required to report in writing to Amadeus at the time their reservation is made:

Any physical or mental condition that may require medical or professional treatment or attention during the voyage
Any condition that may render the guest unfit for travel, or that may require special care or assistance
Any condition that may pose a risk or danger to the guest or anyone else on board the ship
Any condition that may require oxygen for medical reasons
Any intention or need to use a wheelchair cart, other mobility device
By booking passage on this program and by boarding the ship, the guest represents and warrants that he/she is physically and otherwise fit to travel, and that the guest will comply at all times with applicable rules and regulations of the ship and orders and instructions of the ship’s officers.

Amadeus reserves the right without liability to require a guest to disembark and/or to refuse to board and transport a guest who, in the judgment of Amadeus or the ship’s Captain, is unfit to travel or may require care beyond that which Amadeus is reasonably able to provide.

Amadeus strongly recommends that guests are able to navigate the stairs on-board without assistance. Should guests require assistance, they must travel with someone who is able to assist them both ashore and at Onboard. Amadeus is unable to offer special assistance. Please note that wheel-on and/or wheel-off access is not available at ports-of-call.

Baggage
You may bring aboard the ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge. Baggage for Amadeus guests or guests on our land extension programs must be handled in accordance with regulations of our ground operators. Baggage exceeding these limitations is subject to the charges as set forth by the individual operators. Airlines are strict with baggage limitations. Guests are encouraged to contact individual airlines for weight limitations.

All baggage must be securely packed, and properly and clearly labeled. Liquid, fragile, perishable and other articles not suitably packed are transported at your own risk. Amadeus and Brand g are not responsible for loss or damage to baggage or any other personal item during air travel or land extension programs.

Baggage and personal belongings will be taken off the ship upon guest disembarkation. Under no circumstances will baggage be stored onboard without the owner of such baggage being on the vessel. Amadeus is not responsible for baggage stored in shore side facilities.

Under no circumstances may dangerous items (including but not limited to: explosives, firearms, combustible or illegal substances) be taken aboard the ship. We recommend that you hand-carry travel documents (passport, visa, cruise tickets), medications and valuables. These items are the full responsibility of the guest at all times. Amadeus shall not be responsible for the loss of, or damage to, such personal items.

Lost Property
Amadeus may levy a charge for the return of personal items left on board or lost and subsequently found.

Travel Documents
All travel documents (air and cruise tickets, passport and medical insurance information) are the guest’s responsibility. It is also the guest’s responsibility to obtain any necessary visas and public health documents for all applicable ports and to comply with all customs requirements. Without the required documents, a guest may be denied boarding and accommodation by Amadeus or the guest may be disembarked during the voyage and Amadeus will not make a refund or be otherwise liable to any guest for such denial of boarding or disembarkation.

In the event that Brand g as a courtesy provides information or advice as to necessary travel documents, visas and medical inoculations, guests are still obligated to verify such information with the appropriate government authorities and Brand g does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy of such information. Please check with the appropriate consulate for specific requirements. Security measures imposed by governments may change from time to time and each guest will be required to comply with them. As a courtesy, we will endeavor to provide each guest with notice of measures that may affect them, but complying with any such requirements is the sole responsibility of each guest. Please consult your travel professional for advice on such requirements to avoid loss of boarding privileges.

Taxes, Government Fees/Quasigovernment Fees and Fuel Supplements
Amadeus reserves the right to pass through to its guests (including fully paid and deposited guests) any taxes and government fees/quasi-government fees that relate specifically to a guest’s itinerary. “Taxes and Government fees/quasi-government fees” include any and all fees, charges, surcharges, tolls and taxes imposed by governmental or quasi-governmental authorities including, but not limited to, customs fees, per person berth taxes or fees, embarkation and/or disembarkation fees at ports, airline transportation fees, dockage fees, and wharfage fees.

Amadeus reserves the right to charge a per person fuel supplement in the event that the price of increases up to and including the day of embarkation. Amadeus may collect any taxes, government fees/ quasigovernment fees and fuel supplement (the “Surcharges”) at the time of booking, prior to sailing or on board the vessel, even if the cruise fare has been paid in full. Surcharges will be invoiced accordingly.

All fares, and itineraries are subject to change without notice. Additional restrictions may apply. Amadeus reserves the right to correct any errors or omissions.

Video / Photographic Release
You agree to participate in promotional, publicity, or merchandising pictures during this event. You hereby authorize the reproduction, sale, copyright, broadcast and /or distribution of said video, sound recording and pictures without limitations. You further agree and release Brand g, its parent, their representatives and agents from any liability, loss, expense or claims arising from distribution, broadcast, sale or use of your likeness or voice. You certify that you are 21 years of age or over. You may opt out of any promotional videos and pictures; however Brand g does not guarantee that you will not be included.
